OS004 - Offers Invited for Part 284 Firm Storage Service
Open Season: January 15-February 16, 2001
Service Available: April 1, 2001
During the period January 15- February 16, 2001, Honeoye Storage Corporation invites offers for Section 284 firm storage service to be provided from its facility in Ontario County, NY (see Maps). Service will begin on April 1, 2001. This service will be provided at market-based rates and will be sold by competitive bid on the basis of offers received by February 16, 2001.
Capacity Available and Minimum Storage Quantity
The firm service available capacity is as follows:
Maximum Storage Quantity = 1,471 MDths
Maximum Daily Injection Quantity = 20,000 Dths/d
Injection may take place at any time, unless the facility is shutdown for periodic maintenance.
Maximum Daily Withdrawal Quantity
The Maximum Storage Quantity may be withdrawn at the following Maximum Daily Withdrawal Quantities during each of the following months:

During other months the Daily Withdrawal Quantity service will be available on a best efforts basis.
A customer's Daily Injection and Withdrawal Quantities for each month will be allocated proportionately on the basis of its Storage Quantity. Offers should be made for a minimum of 25,000 Dths of Storage Quantity.
The Deliverability Reservation Rate that a potential customer submits in a Service Request Form will be applied each month throughout the year to its allowable share of the Maximum Daily Withdrawal Quantity in the month of January.
Contract Term
Offers may be made for a minimum term of one (1) and a maximum of five (5) years from April 1, 2001.
Tariff and Minimum Quantities
Potential customers must elect to contract for Part 284 firm service under terms of Honeoye's Original Volume No. 2 FERC Gas Tariff. Nominations should be made for at least 25,000 Dths of Maximum Quantity Stored. Honeoye will provide all necessary cushion gas.
Transportation Arrangements
A customer must make arrangements for gas transportation to and from Honeoye's existing interconnection with Tennessee Gas Pipeline in Ontario County, New York. An alternative exists for customers to contract with New York State Electric and Gas Company to deliver and accept a modest volume of gas at their interconnection with the Honeoye pipeline near Canandaigua, New York.
Submitting a Formal Bid for Firm Service
A formal bid for the Part 284 service may be made by completing in writing and returning the Storage Service Request Form, to be found herein, together with the supplemental documents and payments specified on that form. Offers should be made according to the procedures outlined in Section 2, General Terms and Conditions of the Tariff.
